Hello, teachers!
Today, I’m excited to guide you on how to use the Records of Work Tool on Mwalimu App. This tool is designed to help you document weekly teaching activities in a fast, efficient, and organized way.
Let’s dive right in!
What Is the Records of Work Tool?
The Records of Work Tool helps you keep track of the topics and subtopics you’ve covered during the week. Instead of spending hours manually writing these records, you can now complete them in minutes using Mwalimu App.
Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Records of Work Tool
1. Log in to Your Account
Start by logging into your Mwalimu App account.
2. Navigate to the Records of Work Tool
From the dashboard, click on Records of Work to open the tool.

3. Record the Subtopics Taught
- For each day of the week, type the subtopics you covered during your lessons.
- If you didn’t have a lesson on a particular day, simply leave the field blank.
- Monday: Linear equations: Solving one-variable equations
- Tuesday: Introduction to quadratic equations
4. Optional: Include Self-Evaluation
If you’d like to add a self-evaluation section (remarks) to your RoW, check the box labeled “Include Self-Evaluation (Remarks)” at the bottom of the form.
If you leave this unchecked, it will simply leave a blank space where you can write the remarks later on.
5. Generate Your Document
Once you’ve completed all the fields, click on the Generate Now button at the bottom of the page.
Your Record of Work document will be ready in seconds! It will download to your device automatically.
